Balinari Oil was born from the traditional wisdom of the Karo people in North Sumatra, Indonesia. Inspired by the legacy of Guru Patimpus Sembiring Pelawi, the founder of Medan City and a respected healer of his time, we continue the heritage of natural healing through herbal remedies crafted from the richness of the land.
Guru Patimpus, who lived in the 16th century, was known for using natural herbs to heal various ailments. His knowledge and traditions became the foundation of what we now present as Balinari Oil—a bridge that connects ancestral wisdom with modern wellness practices.
The word Balinari comes from the Karo language: Bali means “same,” while Nari means “from.” Its philosophy represents “The Same Healing Legacy from Our Ancestors,” a reminder that our products are not just herbal oils but a cultural heritage passed down through generations.
